ARAPIRACA – “Parceria AABB Comunidade fornece suporte escolar e esportes para estudantes da rede pública municipal.”

The Arapiraca city government, through its Municipal Secretariat for Education and Sports, has renewed its longstanding partnership with the Bank of Brazil and the National Federation of AABBs (FENABB) in presenting ‘The AABB Community Project’. This initiative, designed to develop essential life skills among the students of Arapiraca, thrives on the synergy among families, schools, and the community.

The inauguration of the grand project took place just recently, on Tuesday the 8th, at the Brazilian Athletic Bank Association (AABB). Gathering pupils from eight Arapiraca educational institutions, the event was a symbol of collaborative spirit and collective ambition.

Helmed by the venerable Professor Maria Lúcia Souza de Farias, the project involves the active participation of 375 pupils. It believes in holistic student development catered through a range of educational activities, in turn, reinforcing the bonds between family, school, and community.

Extracurricular activities unfold in parallel with regular school hours, offering an impressive stretch to students including karate, chess, academic support, dance, arts and crafts, and various sports.

The list of schools that have proudly embraced this project comprises the Maria Cleonica School, the Masonic Lodge Perfect Union II School, the March 31 School, Pedro Suruagy School, the José Ursulino Malaquias School, the Enéas Benedito dos Santos School, the Pedro Correia das Graças School, the Walter Bezerra School, the Suely de Almeida School, the Crispiniano Ferreira de Brito School, and the Tibúrcio Valeriano School.
